Monarchs of Jazz and your music host Michael Paulo presents an evening with Saxman Paul Taylor, Vocalist Louis Price and two-time Grammy Award winning Guitarist Paul Brown.
Saxophonist Paul Taylor is veteran of the contemporary jazz scene. This year, he launches into his incredible third decade as a solo artist with music from his new record “Countdown”. The record fuses his trademark jazzy/funk/soul vibe with prominent elements of synthy dance pop/EDM, trance-like neo-soul, electronica, folksy lite rock, reggae ton, and even a touch of blues. Ever since Paul Taylor first got On the Horn with his hit debut album, he has enjoyed an extraordinary journey in the contemporary urban jazz world. After over ten albums of non-stop hit making, thousands of charismatic performances worldwide, and years of setting new standards for the sonic possibilities of contemporary urban jazz, Paul will be featuring new songs from his latest release Countdown.
Guitarist Paul Brown’s talents as producer/engineer have earned him two Grammy Awards and an impressive string of more than 50 number #1 hits on Radio & Records’ smooth jazz charts. In an illustrious career spanning over two decades, Brown has worked on projects for such influential artists as George Benson, Al Jarreau, Kirk Whalum, Patti Austin, Norman Brown, Luther Vandross, Boney James, Peter White and more .
Vocalist Louis Price is an R&B jazz singer/actor who has sung with the legendary groups, the Temptations and the Drifters. As a performer, he is a veteran who can capture the crowd with his familiar renditions of My Girl, Heard it through the Grapevine, Get Ready, Under The Boardwalk and more. He has also acted in major movies such as White Men Can’t Jump and on TV shows and miniseries. He maintains a busy performance schedule around the U.S.
